UK Sport Gives Ultimate the Nod

Ultimate has been officially recognised as a sport by UK Sport and the home country Sports Councils: Sport England, sportscotland, Sports Council Wales and Sport Northern Ireland.

Recognition means we have external and official confirmation that ultimate should be viewed as a sport here in the UK. The scale of participation in Ultimate has risen greatly over the past few years, especially in schools by way of Ultimate clubs and inclusion in the PE curriculum. So the future looks bright for the sport of Ultimate!
