The course presents an enlightening journey into the world of Frisbee where you learn a broad range of skills and different approaches to using flying disc activities to engage and inspire children of all ages, abilities and personalities.

  • Flow drills for Ultimate Frisbee
  • Introduction to Disc Sports recognised by the WFDF (World Flying Disc Federation)
  • Game variations for beginner groups
  • Formats for running inter/intra-school competitions.

The course is a powerful skills program with a ‘learn by doing’ approach. The structured learning process installs the skills required to play and coach Ultimate Frisbee.

  • Course duration: 3.5 hours (Practical)
  • Minimum number: 12, maximum: 20
  • Course fee £39 +vat per person
  • Endorsed by the UK Ultimate Association and equivalent to the UKU Leader Award. Leader Qualification Certificate provided.
  • Large indoor sports hall required. Additional outdoor space desirable, but not essential
  • For school bookings the content can be tailored to the needs of Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
  • This well established course has been running since 2007.

 

Booking Information

Courses are usually put on for an organisation or local network with at least 8 people wanting to take part. We may then open the course up to other individuals in that region who have previously made a request with us to take the course.
