Disc sports training courses for Primary Link Teachers, SSCo's, P.E. Teachers and young leaders.

Learn basic and advanced Disc Sports skills and how to deliver curriculum-linked activities safely in your school at our 'Introduction to Disc Sports' course.

 

Learn about the official Disc Sports

Discover the rules and strategies of the disc sports including the classic invasion game Ultimate. Other disciplines covered on the course include Disc Golf, Double Disc Court and field events. Experience tried and tested games and drills plus simplified versions of the official disc sports, to suit children of all abilities from Key Stages 1 to 4.

 

 

Get trained in advanced Frisbee® skills

Learn how to throw a perfect backhand and forehand, and have a go at some freestyle catching techniques. Plus you can pick up some secret tips for controlling the flight of the disc such as curving, air bouncing, hovers and skips.

 

 

 

Collect a toolbox of drills & fun games

Learn dynamic activities for developing individual and team skills for K.S. 1 to 4. Disc Sports offer great new ways to improve hand-eye coordination, develop fitness, agility, footwork and balance, and bring new understandings of invasion games.

 

Learn Frisbee®... then learn with Frisbee®

The course includes some useful ways to get the spirit of the game going in the culture of a class or group of young people. Plus, you will see how Disc Sports can be used to develop valuable life skills, raise self-esteem and promote fair play, empathy and respect.

 

 

Interested in booking a CTS Course?

  • Courses can be provided for groups of 10 to 20 people.
  • The courses are practical and involve skills training and how to set up and play a range of fun games & drills.
  • For those working with Key Stage 3 & 4 there is extra emphasis on the official Disc Sports, including the all the rules & strategies of Ultimate.
  • For Key Stage 1 & 2, the course offers a wide variety of fun activities geared up to developing fundamental Frisbee® & team-working skills.
  • The duration of the course is 3 to 3.5 hours.
  • All participants receive a copy of the Disc Sports Pocket Handbook and certificate.
